Oulun Teekkariyhdistys ry

Oulun Teekkariyhdistys ry, also known as OTY, is the registered association for technology students in the University of Oulu.

The purpose of the association is to nurture the Teekkari culture in Oulu, to promote the social and spiritual aspirations of its members, to act as a link between the students and guilds of the University of Oulu in the field of technology, and to observe and develop general guidelines for their activities. The association maintains contacts with the Student Union of the University of Oulu – OYY, as well as with other student unions and associations in the field of technology. The association acquaints its members with professional issues in their field and strives to develop its members’ independence and judgment.
